Role Summary
We're looking for an AI Product Lead to lead the practical application of AI across complex technical and business environments. You'll take AI initiatives from initial concept through experimentation, pilot deployment and into embedded, production-ready operation, working across multidisciplinary teams, business stakeholders and technical specialists to ensure AI delivers measurable, trusted value.
What You Will Be Doing
- Identifying, assessing and prioritising AI opportunities, developing business cases and maintaining a delivery roadmap.
- Leading proof-of-concept and pilot work through to full operational deployment, defining success criteria and capturing lessons learned.
- Managing and directing a multidisciplinary team (data scientists, engineers and analysts), ensuring models and solutions are validated, interpretable and production-ready.
- Bridging business needs and technical delivery, translating opportunities into practical, adopted solutions.
- Driving modernisation of tools and platforms, including transitions to more efficient or open-source alternatives where appropriate, without compromising quality or fidelity.
- Establishing governance, data quality and responsible AI practices, ensuring initiatives comply with organisational policy and ethical standards.
- Monitoring adoption, utilisation and realised benefits, reporting progress and value delivery to senior stakeholders.
- Acting as the organisation's focal point for AI matters, working closely with data owners, architects and governance forums to ensure data and AI practices remain trustworthy and fit for purpose.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
