Position: AI Safety Specialist
Type: Short-Term Contract
Compensation: $70–$84/hr
Location: Remote – United States
About the Opportunity
This opportunity is for experienced AI Safety, Red Teaming, Cybersecurity, Trust & Safety, Content Moderation, Policy Evaluation, and Adversarial Testing professionals to contribute to a short-term AI safety research project.
You'll apply your expertise to assess AI systems, identify potential risks and failure modes, and provide detailed evaluations in a fast-paced research environment.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI systems for safety risks, vulnerabilities, and failure modes.
- Conduct adversarial testing and red-teaming activities.
- Review AI outputs for policy, safety, and trust & safety concerns.
- Provide detailed, evidence-based feedback with strong attention to detail.
- Work independently while meeting tight project deadlines.

Required Qualifications
- Must currently be based in the United States.
- Experience in AI safety, red teaming, cybersecurity, trust & safety, content moderation, policy evaluation, or adversarial testing.
- Strong written English communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable availability and responsiveness throughout the project sprint.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI model evaluation or safety testing.
- Background in cybersecurity, risk assessment, or adversarial research.
- Experience identifying and documenting AI safety issues and failure modes.

Compensation
- Competitive compensation of $37 per task.
- Short-term contract engagement.
- Fully remote opportunity.
- Approximately 5 hours per day for 2 consecutive days.
- Approximately 10 hours total during the week of September 1, 2026.
