Seraph Research Cluster · EX Venture · On-site, Canggu, Bali · 4–6 months
What does it take to keep a small fleet of AI models reasoning honestly on a device beside a lemna cultivation tray, where the next decision changes what the tray does? This is an AI Research Intern building on-device multi-agent reasoning for the Seraph research cluster — the funded multi-partner AI research cluster, UTN Nürnberg among the partners, at EX Venture. Seraph carries a 256-paper knowledge base across 31 research areas and a working species-vision detection system that reads a whole cultivation tray. Epic Solutions PT runs the on-site program in Canggu, Bali. You leave with the proof employers hire on: a thing you built that nobody asked you to build. Everyone has a degree. Almost nobody has proof.
What you build
Not a task list.
The thing you build.
- You assemble the on-device multi-agent reasoning harness — a small testbed that lets three lightweight models argue a decision before the tray reacts.
- The benchmark set that separates useful disagreement from agent rambling is the thing you put together.
- The edge deployment path, getting a model pair running on the hardware beside the lemna tray, is the unglamorous part you work on.
- The failure-mode report that the research cluster reads every Monday is on your desk.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
Graduate Consultant — 2026 Scheme

See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
The bar
- A model trained outside coursework, with the specific failure point under constrained memory named.
- A multi-agent simulation another person can run without you in the room.
- Kept a hard inference problem on the table until the output stopped drifting.
- Worked from a paper to a working prototype without a tutorial.
Who this is for
Researchers and engineers, from computer science, engineering, or self-taught, who treat on-device AI and multi-agent systems as instruments, not gimmicks.
The map is dead: the old path of a decade climbing a research ladder is not where the interesting work is.
A model that falls over is data, not failure.
The work continues until the behavior is right.
Where you do it — and why here
Thirty years building companies — New York, London, Tokyo, the Valley — and then it stopped mattering where the work happened. So the program runs on-site in Canggu, Bali. A modern company costs twelve people and a toolchain — so being wrong six times a year is part of how we build. The campus is 4,000 sqm, and the people who run the companies are on it every day. Epic Solutions PT runs the on-site program in Canggu, Bali. What this location buys is attention, not a view.
