Role: AI Research Specialist (Remote) Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere) Job Type: Contract Payout: $80 - $100/hour
Role Overview:
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a STEM AI Agent Research Specialist to work on a contract basis. The role involves conducting deep research on emerging AI technologies, specifically focusing on agent-based systems in STEM fields. You will analyze research papers, identify trends, and evaluate the feasibility of integrating these technologies into practical applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct systematic literature reviews on AI agent research in STEM domains, including but not limited to robotics, computational biology, and materials science.
- Identify and synthesize key findings from peer-reviewed papers, patents, and technical reports to inform decision-making.
- Assess the scalability and performance of AI agent systems for real-world STEM applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate research insights into actionable development strategies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in AI agents, reinforcement learning, and multi-agent systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a closely related STEM field.
- 3+ years of experience in AI research, with a focus on agent-based systems or autonomous decision-making.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in evaluating technical papers, datasets, and algorithmic performance.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-expert audiences in written and verbal formats.
