Light
Light brings together the ledger, apps tailored to individual businesses and AI agents that carry out finance workflows. We are building the financial foundation for companies operating across entities, currencies and industries.
We are looking for an ambitious leader with practical AI expertise, sharp commercial judgement and the ability to turn strategy into execution. Working directly with the VP Sales, you will help shape where we invest, identify what holds us back and build the systems that move us forward.
You will be a close strategic and execution partner: prepared, proactive and comfortable challenging constructively. Bring a clear point of view, turn decisions into owners and deadlines, and drive work across teams through to adoption.
What you’ll own
- AI and automation. Build reliable AI agents and connected workflows for account research, meeting intelligence, opportunity inspection, follow-ups, forecasting and reporting. Connect models to business data and systems, evaluate accuracy and measure the time saved and commercial impact.
- Growth planning and market intelligence. Partner with GTM and Finance on territories, capacity, hiring, quotas and investment. Identify patterns in the customers we win and the problems they buy us to solve. Turn regional, industry and partner opportunities into credible operating plans.
- Revenue performance and board reporting. Own a trusted view of pipeline, conversion, win rates, sales cycles, productivity, retention and expansion. Help the VP Sales and Finance prepare the commercial board pack, translating performance and forecasts into a clear narrative and recommendations. Participate in relevant board discussions as required.
- Sales execution and systems. Improve HubSpot, lead routing, attribution, data quality and handoffs across Lead → Close → Renew → Expand. Embed MEDDIC, stage gates, economic buyer engagement, pricing approvals and forecast discipline. Make direct and partner performance visible.
- Leadership and scale. Drive weekly reviews and quarterly execution plans with Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, Customer Success, Implementation and Finance. Give managers actionable insight into pipeline, coaching and capacity. Strengthen onboarding, the sales playbook and prospect-specific demo workflows.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What you bring
- Practical AI expertise. You have built and deployed working AI workflows, connected tools and data through APIs or automation, and managed accuracy and reliability. You can show what you built, who uses it and what improved.
- Commercial and analytical strength. You understand recurring revenue and pipeline economics. You can build planning models independently, interrogate assumptions and turn complex analysis into a clear recommendation. Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills are expected; SQL, BI and scripting are valuable.
- Hands-on delivery. You are comfortable improving CRM systems, ideally HubSpot, and connecting the GTM stack. You have owned a meaningful initiative from diagnosis to implementation, adoption and measurable results.
- Leadership and judgement. You earn trust, influence across functions and challenge senior colleagues with evidence. You set priorities, bring people with you and know when to act or escalate.
- Ambition and discipline. You learn quickly, seek responsibility and maintain high standards at pace. Your background may be in RevOps, GTM engineering, AI, strategy or consulting. Evidence of impact matters more than a fixed number of years or a particular degree.
