AI Security Consultant – Career Adviser to Consultant

UK-wide | Hybrid | DTCS / Digital & Data

Cyber Security is evolving. Help shape what comes next.

I’m working with a leading innovation and transformation consultancy that is growing its AI Security capability across the UK.

This is not an AI Engineer role, and it isn’t about building models.

They’re looking for Cyber Security Consultants who understand how organisations assess and manage risk, and who are increasingly interested in what happens when AI, LLMs and agentic systems become part of the technology estate.

The sweet spot is someone from a consulting or advisory background who enjoys working directly with clients and wants to develop into one of the specialists helping organisations secure the next generation of technology.

What you'll be doing

You'll work across traditional cyber security and emerging AI security challenges, helping clients understand risk and turn it into practical action.

This could include:

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
