About The Role
We are seeking an experienced AI Security Engineer to secure AI, machine learning, and Generative AI solutions across enterprise environments. The role will focus on embedding security controls throughout the AI lifecycle and strengthening safeguards for large language models (LLMs), foundation models, AI models, data pipelines, and AI-enabled applications. As an AI Security Engineer at Vbeyond, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our AI initiatives from emerging threats and vulnerabilities, ensuring that AI deployments are resilient, compliant, and aligned with best security practices.
This position requires a proactive security professional with a deep understanding of AI/ML lifecycle risks, hands-on experience in AI red teaming, and a strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, AI engineers, and governance professionals. Your expertise will help shape secure AI strategies, implement effective security controls, and contribute to the responsible adoption of AI technologies within our enterprise clients.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 8+ years of relevant professional experience in AI security engineering or related fields. A strong background in securing AI/ML lifecycle stages, including model development, training, evaluation, deployment, and operational environments, is essential. Candidates should demonstrate hands-on experience with AI red teaming, vulnerability assessments, threat modeling, and security testing techniques such as prompt injection, jailbreaks, and adversarial attacks. Familiarity with secure CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and cloud security is also required. Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, or equivalent, along with cloud security certifications from providers like Microsoft, AWS, or Google Cloud, are highly desirable. Candidates should also possess excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive security assessments and threat modeling for AI, ML, Generative AI, and LLM-based solutions to identify vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies.
- Design, implement, and monitor AI security controls, guardrails, and detection capabilities to prevent and respond to security incidents.
- Conduct AI red-team exercises, simulating attack scenarios such as prompt injection, jailbreaks, model manipulation, data leakage, and adversarial attacks to evaluate system resilience.
- Secure the entire AI lifecycle, including model development, training, evaluation, deployment, and ongoing operations, ensuring compliance with security standards.
- Embed security controls within AI CI/CD pipelines and configuration management processes to automate security best practices.
- Collaborate closely with data scientists, AI engineers, architects, and governance teams to define and enforce AI security standards, patterns, and control requirements aligned with enterprise governance.
- Analyze emerging AI threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques to continuously improve defensive controls and testing methodologies.
- Support the secure and responsible adoption of AI technologies across enterprise environments by providing guidance, training, and best practices.
