Job Title: Senior AI Security (SOC) Engineer

Location: Hybrid (3 days in London office)

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for a Senior AI Security (SOC) Engineer who thrives on solving complex issues, who builds AI SoC workflows and helps and mentors others, while delivering the best possible technical service. We want someone who can work well in a team but be self-motivated. We are looking for someone that can understand complex IT/Security issues and articulate clearly to technical and non-technical people alike. Someone who is always looking for improvements to our service.

The team

We support our international offices by developing, rolling out and maintaining our systems and processes, using cutting-edge software and hardware.

What you’ll do

We are seeking a Senior AI Security Engineer who will support the Cyber Defence capability. This role will be focused on contributing to the development of an agentic orchestration platform for the SOC (in response to cyber frontier).

You will deliver practical automation and AI-enabled workflows across our SOC stack - Cyware, Azure, n8n (future/expanding), Cribl Stream and AWS Bedrock, to name a few. The aim is to reduce SOC analyst toil, improve triage quality and speed up response, with appropriate governance for a regulated environment.

The successful candidate will combine strong software engineering and cloud engineering skills.

You will:

  • Build and improve SOC automations and playbooks (triage, enrichment, case handling, response actions).
  • Develop AI-assisted workflows (e.g., summarisation, guided triage, recommended next steps, knowledge lookup over runbooks).
  • Develop and secure AI agents and their associated skills, designing robust controls for safe and effective transfer of control.
  • Integrate tools and data sources using APIs/webhooks and maintain reliable, observable workflows.
  • Partner with SOC/IR to move from prototype to production with auditability, safety controls, and documentation.
  • Track outcomes (e.g., time-to-triage/close, automation success rates, alert noise reduction).

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
