Senior AI Sales Specialist

AWS Public Sector is looking for a Senior AI Sales Specialist to drive the adoption of AI across UK Healthcare. You will help NHS England, Integrated Care Systems, NHS Trusts and the health arm's-length bodies use AI to improve patient outcomes, support clinicians and ease pressure on waiting lists and budgets.

This is a rare opportunity to shape and deliver the AI go-to-market for one of the UK's highest-impact sectors. As the AI specialist for the UK Healthcare team, you will work at the intersection of enterprise sales, emerging technology and public service transformation, alongside Account Managers, Solutions Architects and HealthTech colleagues.

You will lead complex, high-value AI sales engagements across NHS England, ICSs, NHS Trusts and the health arm's-length bodies, developing and executing the go-to-market plan for AWS AI services, including Amazon Bedrock, Kiro and Quick Suite, across UK Healthcare.

Working with senior clinical, digital and operational leaders, you will position AWS as the AI platform of choice for transforming care at scale. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy to build pipeline and close deals that matter.

Key job responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth by leading multi-stakeholder AI sales engagements from opportunity identification through to close across NHS and wider health organisations
  • Develop and execute a go-to-market plan for AWS AI services across UK Healthcare, focused on the highest-value use cases such as clinical decision support, population health, patient engagement and operational efficiency
  • Apply value-based selling to connect AI adoption to patient outcomes, clinician experience, shorter waiting lists and cost efficiency
  • Compete effectively, differentiating AWS AI against alternative platforms with deal structures that work within public sector procurement routes
  • Build and maintain a qualified pipeline, forecast accurately and report on performance including win rates, partner attach and strategic account progress
  • Engage key partners, including AI model providers, health technology companies and systems integrators, to build joint go-to-market plans that accelerate adoption
  • Feed market insight back to AWS product and specialist teams to influence roadmap priorities around clinical safety, data governance, interoperability and regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate with account teams to bring the right expertise to every customer engagement

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

A day in the life

You might start the morning preparing for a strategy session with an Integrated Care Board exploring how AI could support population health, then join a call with a CIO on using AI to reduce clinical administration. Afternoons could see you building a proof-of-concept proposal with your Solutions Architect for a Trust, working through a joint plan with a model provider or health ISV, or shaping a deal structure that navigates NHS procurement. You will regularly sit with Account Managers to plan outreach together, connect with partners and AWS product teams, and turn frontline insight into action. Your customers range from NHS executives and clinical leaders to CIOs, CCIOs and digital, data and transformation teams across Trusts and ICBs.
