London / Hybrid

We are looking for a mid-level Data Engineer to help build a new enterprise reporting platform focused on AI usage, token consumption, and cost.

The organisation already has established cloud-cost reporting. This project will extend that capability into AI, creating a trusted view of how AI services are being consumed, what they cost, and how usage can be attributed across the business.

You will work primarily with Snowflake, Python, and SQL, integrating data from AI providers and building the pipelines, models, and controls that underpin the platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build Snowflake-based data pipelines and models for AI usage and cost data
  • Capture and reconcile request-level and token-level consumption
  • Integrate AI-provider billing, pricing, usage, and telemetry APIs
  • Develop reporting datasets for attribution, forecasting, and optimisation
  • Preserve granular source data and distinguish billed, calculated, and allocated costs
  • Implement automated testing, data-quality controls, lineage, and auditability
  • Work with FinOps, cloud, data, finance, and engineering stakeholders

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
