Join Barclays as an AI Software Engineer

Help build the next generation of intelligent applications and platforms. You will develop scalable software solutions, integrate advanced AI capabilities into enterprise systems, and collaborate with engineering teams to solve complex technical challenges that deliver meaningful business impact.

Requirements

To be successful as an AI Software Engineer, you should have experience with:

  • Strategic Technical Leadership
    • Driving the design and delivery of AI-enabled software solutions, providing technical direction, mentoring engineers, and evaluating emerging technologies including LLMs, RAG, AI agents, and Generative AI frameworks.
  • Cross-Functional Stakeholder Management
    • Partnering effectively with engineering, product, architecture, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into innovative AI-powered solutions and successful business outcomes.
  • Advanced Software Architecture
    • Architecting secure, scalable, and cloud-native applications using distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and modern engineering patterns, with experience integrating AI capabilities into enterprise-grade platforms.
