🚀 We’re hiring a Junior–Mid AI Software Engineer at Veridue AI

We’re looking for a junior to mid-level engineer who is passionate about building, curious about how things work, and ready to take real ownership from day one.

At Veridue, we’re building AI-native software to accelerate investment into renewable energy. We’re a VC backed startup (raised the largest ever, multi-million pre-seed in Europe for energy software - press release coming soon), fast-moving team, with experienced founders, ambitious plans, and we’re now growing our engineering team.

This is not a research or model-training role. You’ll help us build and ship the product end to end. Depending on what’s most important at the time, that could mean:

  • building backend services and APIs
  • developing AI agents and LLM-powered workflows
  • designing and improving evaluation pipelines
  • shipping frontend and UI features
  • integrating new AI capabilities into production
  • taking ownership of a problem and seeing it through to completion

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

We’re specifically hiring at junior to mid level, but we’re looking for people who can contribute from the start and are immediately available. You’ll have plenty of support from a strong team, but this isn’t a graduate programme—we’re looking for engineers we can trust with meaningful pieces of work and who enjoy taking ownership.

You’ll probably be a great fit if you:

  • have strong software engineering fundamentals
  • have real hands-on experience building with modern LLMs, AI agents or related AI technologies
  • can demonstrate projects you’ve built and decisions you’ve made
  • are comfortable working across different parts of the stack when needed
  • are proactive, dependable and comfortable with ambiguity
  • are excited by our mission and the opportunity to build products that matter

We care far more about what you’ve actually built than the number of years on your CV. Great experience can come from industry, open source, university or personal projects—but we’re looking for people who’ve gone beyond tutorials and can demonstrate that they’ve built real things.
