GoLive Experts is looking for an AI Solutions Apprentice to join their growing AI enablement team in Higherford, Lancashire. You will spend your days working out what businesses really need, helping build governed AI tools around their own data, and being honest when AI is not the answer, all while studying for a Level 4 AI and Automation apprenticeship with The Coders Guild. Training is fully funded and your day release is paid working time.

Wage National Minimum Wage for apprentices
Location Higherford
Apply by 14 October 2026
Training
You will study a Level 4 apprenticeship on day release, with the training hours built into your paid working week. Expect coursework, reading and assignments in your own time too, including some evenings around deadlines. GoLive will also fund certifications, including the Claude Certified Architect route and NetSuite certification where relevant.
Requirements
You will need a Level 3 qualification or above in a techno-functional subject, such as business information systems, computer science, data, business analysis, or accounting and finance with a systems element. GoLive are interested in the combination of business and technology rather than either on its own.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
Graduate Consultant — 2026 Scheme
Why you're a good match
StrongYour economics background and your summer at a regional bank line up with what PwC looks for on the consulting scheme. Applications close in four weeks.
See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Beyond that, what matters is how you think. You will suit this apprenticeship if you are as curious about why a business works the way it does as you are about the technology underneath it. We are looking for someone who breaks a messy problem into parts, works out what evidence would settle it, and tests rather than assumes.
- You will write clearly for a business audience
- Feel comfortable running a working session
- Be happy to say "I don't know, I'll find out"
Care with detail matters here because you will be working around customers' operational and financial data, and you should be comfortable being corrected.
Some real-world grounding helps, whether that is a placement year, a part-time job, a dissertation on a real business problem or a project you took from problem to solution. A little exposure to data or querying (SQL, Excel, Power BI, Python or similar) is useful, though you do not need to be fluent.
Nice to have, but not needed:
- Any hands-on use of AI tools such as Claude
- Any exposure to an ERP or e-commerce platform like NetSuite
- A bit of scripting
- An interest in data governance and information security
You need to meet the training provider's entry requirements, be eligible for an English apprenticeship, have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship, and be able to attend the Higherford office two days a week and travel to customer sites.
