A leading international financial services organisation is seeking an experienced AI Solutions Architect to join a growing AI and Innovation function at a pivotal stage of its AI transformation journey. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in designing and delivering enterprise-scale AI solutions that drive business value across a complex, highly regulated environment.
The Role
Working across business and technology teams, you will take ownership of AI solutions from initial use case discovery through to production deployment. You'll be responsible for translating business requirements into secure, scalable and governed AI architectures while ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, security requirements and regulatory expectations.
This role combines strategic architecture leadership with hands-on involvement in solution design, prototyping and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end AI solution design from concept through to implementation.
- Design enterprise AI architectures aligned to business objectives and technology strategy.
- Develop solutions across Microsoft's AI ecosystem, including Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform and Azure AI services.
- Drive architecture governance, risk assessments and approval processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across technology, security, data, risk and business functions.
- Ensure solutions meet security, data privacy and regulatory requirements.
- Support proof-of-concepts, prototypes and early-stage delivery initiatives.

About You
You'll bring a strong blend of enterprise architecture expertise and modern AI delivery experience, ideally gained within a large, complex and regulated organisation.
Essential Experience
- Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture or AI Architecture experience.
- Strong understanding of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI agent frameworks.
- Experience designing AI solutions using RAG, prompt engineering and knowledge-grounded architectures.
- Expertise in Microsoft AI technologies, including Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI and/or Power Platform.
- Experience delivering solutions through formal architecture governance processes.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms, enterprise integration, security and identity management.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Desirable Experience
- Financial services or other highly regulated sectors.
- Azure OpenAI and enterprise GenAI platforms.
- Semantic search, vector databases and knowledge architecture.
- Microsoft Graph, SharePoint and collaboration platform integrations.
- Knowledge of AI governance, GDPR, EU AI Act and operational resilience frameworks.
