AI Solutions Architect
Robert Walters is partnering with a leading international financial-services organisation to recruit a hands-on AI Solutions Architect for its expanding AI and Innovation function.
This is a key role focused on taking enterprise AI solutions from initial use-case discovery through architecture, governance approval and production delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Design secure, scalable and production-ready AI solutions.
- Translate business requirements into end-to-end technical architectures.
- Deliver solutions across Azure AI, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, GCP and related technologies.
- Apply GenAI patterns including RAG, knowledge grounding, prompt orchestration and human-in-the-loop workflows.
- Lead designs through architecture and AI governance forums.
- Produce architecture documentation, integration patterns and technical specifications.
- Work closely with engineering, security, data privacy, risk and business stakeholders.
- Support prototyping, validation, troubleshooting and production readiness.

- Strong knowledge of AI and generative AI architecture, including LLMs and agent-based solutions.
- Hands-on experience delivering enterprise AI solutions in a regulated environment.
- Broad solution architecture expertise across cloud, integration, APIs, security, identity and data flows.
- Experience with Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform or comparable platforms.
- Understanding of responsible AI, guardrails, explainability, governance and data privacy.
- Ability to lead complex solutions from requirements through to production.
- Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills.
- Experience within financial services and knowledge of regulations such as the EU AI Act, GDPR or DORA would be advantageous.

Desired Skills and Experience
- Generative AI architecture: LLMs, agentic workflows, RAG, knowledge grounding, prompt engineering and human-in-the-loop design.
- Enterprise solution architecture: Designing end-to-end solutions across cloud, infrastructure, networking, integration, APIs, data flows and security.
- Microsoft AI ecosystem: Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio and Power Platform.
- Cloud capability: Strong Azure experience, with exposure to GCP or other enterprise cloud platforms.
- AI governance and controls: Responsible AI, guardrails, explainability, model risk, auditability, data privacy and regulatory compliance.
- Security and identity: IAM, access controls, security boundaries, secure integration and operational resilience.
- Data and knowledge architecture: Vector databases, embeddings, semantic search, enterprise search and knowledge-source integration.
- Technical documentation: Architecture designs, technical specifications, integration patterns and governance submissions.
