We're partnering with a leading global bank to hire an AI Solutions Architect to join a growing enterprise AI function. This is a hands-on architecture role focused on designing and delivering secure, scalable AI solutions across a complex, regulated environment.

The successful candidate will take ownership of AI solutions from discovery through to production, working closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, architecture, security, and governance functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design end-to-end enterprise AI solutions from business requirements through to production deployment.
  • Lead architecture across Generative AI initiatives, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with enterprise standards.
  • Drive solution design through architecture governance and approval processes.
  • Produce architecture documentation, technical designs, and integration specifications.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to support prototyping, implementation, and production readiness.
  • Ensure solutions meet security, data privacy, risk, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop reusable AI architecture patterns, standards, and best practices.

Technical Experience Required

  • Strong experience designing enterprise AI and Generative AI solutions.
  • Deep understanding of LLMs, AI agents, workflow orchestration, and enterprise AI integration.
  • Experience with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), prompt engineering, grounding, and human-in-the-loop architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft AI technologies including Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI Services, and Power Platform.
  • Experience designing solutions across Azure and cloud-based enterprise platforms.
  • Strong enterprise architecture background covering cloud, infrastructure, APIs, integration, networking, identity & access management, and security.
  • Experience delivering architecture within regulated environments such as financial services.
  • Proven ability to lead solution architecture through governance and design authority processes.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Desirable

  • Financial Services or other highly regulated industry experience.
  • Knowledge of AI governance frameworks, GDPR, DORA, and EU AI Act.
  • Experience with Azure OpenAI, semantic search, vector databases, and enterprise knowledge platforms.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Graph, SharePoint, and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Experience implementing Responsible AI controls, model monitoring, and guardrails.
