🎯 The Role
As an AI Solutions Architect, you will work at the intersection of artificial intelligence, data engineering, and business problem-solving, helping transform how analysts, researchers, engineers, and stakeholders interact with data.
- Join a small, highly skilled team, working directly with senior stakeholders
- Identify AI opportunities, design solutions, and drive them into production
- This is a hands-on role, blending technical expertise with execution ownership
- Aligns closely with a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) profile—direct stakeholder engagement, rapid prototyping, and full solution ownership
📍 Location: London, UK 🕒 Contract Type: Employee or Inside IR35 🗓 Target Start Date: July 2026 ⏰ Working Hours: Full-time (40h/week) 💵 Compensation: £58k–£87k (Senior) or £83k–£108k (Principal) 📝 Note: Applications must be submitted in English.
💥 Your Impact
In this role, you will:
- Lead the design and implementation of AI-powered solutions across enterprise data and analytics functions
- Collaborate directly with stakeholders to translate business challenges into technical solutions
- Build production-grade agentic AI systems, leveraging:
- LLMs, retrieval architectures, and semantic models
- Financial filings processing and structured financial content analysis
- Develop semantic search, retrieval, and data discovery capabilities
- Design natural language interfaces for non-technical users
- Contribute to metadata models, governance frameworks, and AI enablement initiatives
- Own the full solution lifecycle—discovery, implementation, deployment, and optimisation
- Serve as a trusted technical partner, delivering business impact independently

👤 What We’re Looking For
Must-haves
✅ Python mastery:
- APIs, async architectures, pipelines, production systems
- LLM & Generative AI experience:
- Prompt engineering and structured output generation
- Tool use & agent orchestration, multi-step reasoning
- RAG architecture design:
- Embeddings, vector databases, retrieval pipelines
- Chunking, indexing, evaluation frameworks
- Knowledge & semantic modeling:
- Knowledge graphs, semantic search, metadata-driven architectures
- SQL expertise: Analytics, joins, window functions
- Python frameworks: FastAPI, pandas, etc.
- Enterprise data platforms experience (e.g., Snowflake)
- Ability to translate business problems into technical solutions
- Strong client-facing communication
- Proven high-autonomy ownership)
- Experience with financial/regulatory datasets
- Fluent English
- Occasional travel readiness
