Role Description

Princes Liverpool is recruiting for a AI Solutions Delivery Lead to join our Head Office in the Royal Liver Building in Liverpool. This is a rare opportunity to join one of the UK's leading FMCG businesses.

Job Purpose

Responsible for identifying, shaping and delivering AI-enabled solutions that create measurable business value, with a strong focus on change enablement, adoption and operational embedment. The role bridges business needs, technology delivery and organisational change to ensure AI initiatives move successfully from idea through to sustainable day-to-day use.

Dimensions

  • Leads the end-to-end delivery and change enablement of AI use cases across multiple business domains.
  • Operates across cross-functional teams, business functions and partner organisations.
  • Responsible for stakeholder engagement, prioritisation, delivery governance, adoption planning and benefits realisation for AI initiatives.
  • No direct line management initially, but leads delivery activity and virtual teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with leaders across the business to shape and prioritise an AI roadmap aligned with our strategic goals
  • Oversee project timelines, delivery milestones and stakeholder communications from idea to implementation
  • Translate business problems into clear outcomes, success measures and delivery plans for AI-enabled solutions
  • Lead change enablement for AI initiatives, including impact assessment, communication, training, readiness activities and adoption tracking
  • Stay ahead of emerging AI tools, platforms and partner capabilities to recommend future-fit solutions
  • Collaborate with internal technology teams and external partners to guide design and deployment
  • Ensure solutions are embedded into operational processes, with clear ownership, support routes and ways of working
  • Ensure all AI activity is compliant with company governance, policies and ethical standards
  • Monitor performance of deployed solutions and recommend ongoing enhancements, ensuring continuous optimization
  • Manage intake and prioritisation of AI opportunities, balancing value, feasibility, change impact and risk
  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to remove blockers, manage dependencies and maintain delivery momentum

Role Requirements

  • Confidence working with and influencing senior stakeholders
  • Strong project management capability, with a track record of delivering transformation programmes
  • A strong understanding of AI concepts (machine learning, NLP, generative AI, automation) and how they’re applied to real business environments
  • Experience leading delivery of digital, data, automation or AI-enabled initiatives from idea to operational adoption
  • Strong change management and enablement skills (communications, training, process change, readiness and adoption measurement)
  • Ability to define and track benefits, KPIs and value realisation, and to course-correct based on outcomes
  • Experience working with third-party partners and managing delivery outcomes in a mixed internal/vendor model
  • Awareness of governance, security, data and ethical considerations when deploying AI-enabled solutions
