AI Solutions Engineer

LHH is partnered with a leading organisation operating across the power networks, digital infrastructure and specialist systems sectors, seeking an AI Solutions Engineer to support the development and delivery of its AI adoption programme.
Reporting to the Change & Business Improvement Lead, the role will focus on translating business challenges into practical AI solutions, working directly with end users to develop AI use cases, automated workflows, agents and integrations using technologies including Claude, Claude Code and Cowork. You will also develop APIs and scripts, test and document solutions, and support the adoption of AI across the organisation.

Responsibilities
- Translate business challenges into practical AI solutions
- Work directly with end users to develop AI use cases, automated workflows, agents, and integrations
- Use technologies including Claude, Claude Code, and Cowork
- Develop APIs and scripts
- Test and document solutions
- Support the adoption of AI across the organisation
Requirements
- Technically capable individual with programming and scripting experience, such as Python and API development
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Hands-on experience with AI or large language model platforms, prompt engineering, and agentic tools
- Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical users
- Experience working with minimal supervision
- Experience of software development lifecycles, agile delivery, or the construction, utilities, or infrastructure sectors would be advantageous
- A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience, is desirable
