AI Solutions Engineer
Salary - £60,000 to £80,000
Location - Fully remote - UK Residents only - Sorry, no sponsorship
You'll join a specialist Microsoft security partner with one mandate: work out how the business actually runs across sales, presales, marketing and customer success, find where AI and automation would make the biggest difference, and then build it. This is a builder's role, not a prompt-writing role. The person hiring for it wants someone who can materially improve how the company operates through technology they've engineered themselves.
What you'll actually do
- Spend time inside the sales, presales, marketing, lead generation, and customer success functions to understand how each one works today
- Identify where AI and automation would have the greatest impact on efficiency, and prioritise those opportunities
- Design and build practical solutions to those problems, writing the code yourself rather than relying on AI tools to generate it for you
- Turn improvements into working, adopted tooling that measurably reduces manual effort across the business
- Own the outcome: the measure of success is operational efficiency, not the number of tools shipped

What you'll need
Essential:
- Engineering or developer skills strong enough to build production-quality solutions independently
- Practical experience applying AI and automation to business processes, not just experimenting with it
- The ability to understand a commercial function from the inside and translate what you see into technical opportunities
- Comfort working autonomously in a remote role with a broad, self-directed remit

Nice to have:
- Familiarity with the Microsoft ecosystem, given the business is a Microsoft security partner
- Prior exposure to sales, marketing or customer success tooling and workflows
