AI Solutions Engineer
The Job
We are looking for an exceptional AI Solutions Engineer to play a key role in turning cutting-edge AI into real commercial and operational value.
Working closely with the AI Automation Lead and senior business stakeholders, you will design, prototype and deploy intelligent, agentic AI solutions across the organisation.
You will sit at the intersection of AI engineering, business transformation and automation, taking ideas from initial workflow mapping through to production, evaluation and continuous improvement.
This is a hands-on role for someone who can build, challenge, experiment and deliver. You won't simply advise the business on what AI could do — you'll actually build it.
Key responsibilities include:
- AI Architecture & Engineering: Design, build and deploy production-grade AI agents, RAG systems and multi-agent solutions for complex enterprise use cases.
- AI Experimentation & Innovation: Evaluate emerging LLMs, tools and architectures, rapidly prototype new ideas and identify where AI can deliver the greatest business value.
- Workflow Automation: Work with business teams to map processes, identify bottlenecks and build AI-powered solutions that reduce manual effort, improve accuracy and increase efficiency.
- Evaluation, Governance & Monitoring: Build robust evaluation, safety, compliance, audit and monitoring frameworks to ensure AI solutions are reliable, measurable and fit for production.
- Business Transformation: Partner with senior stakeholders to identify high-value AI opportunities, translate business problems into practical solutions and drive adoption across the organisation.
- Continuous Improvement & Enablement: Analyse solution performance and user feedback, continuously iterate AI products and build reusable frameworks, prompt libraries and playbooks to accelerate wider AI adoption.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
