Deloitte Tax & Legal helps organisations solve some of their most complex, high stakes challenges by staying ahead of fast-moving regulation, managing risk, and delivering high quality tax and legal services across multiple jurisdictions.

We’re at a pivotal point in how we deliver: clients expect more insight, faster turnaround and a seamless experience, while data volumes and complexity keep rising. AI and digital tooling give us the chance to reinvent end to end service delivery, automating routine work, improving consistency and quality, and freeing our teams to focus on judgement led, value adding advice.

We’re looking for a hands-on AI solutions engineer who can turn high-value business problems into production-ready solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio and the Microsoft Power Platform. You will design, build, deploy and continuously improve intelligent agents, automation and low-code applications that help practitioners work faster, more consistently and with greater insight.

This is an opportunity to design and build the agentic AI solutions that will shape how Tax & Legal teams work in a complex, regulated professional services environment. You will not simply configure tools; you will create working agents, automations and low-code applications, and shape reusable components as part of delivery.

We build teams of future thinkers, with diverse talents and backgrounds, and empower them all to reach for and achieve more.

What brings us all together at Deloitte? It’s how we approach the thousands of decisions we make every day. How we behave, our beliefs and our attitudes. In other words: our values. Whatever we do, wherever we are in the world, we lead the way, serve with integrity, take care of each other, foster inclusion, and collaborate for measurable impact. These five shared values lead every decision we make and action we take, guiding us to deliver impact how and where it matters most.

Connect to your opportunity

You will work as part of a Digital team within Tax & Legal, partnering closely with Business and Digital Leaders to design and build agentic solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse and related Microsoft 365 capabilities. This role sits at the centre of a major shift in professional services delivery: moving from experimentation with AI tools to production-ready solutions that deliver measurable impact and better client outcomes.

You will become a trusted technical expert and delivery partner, bridge the gap between Tax & Legal service needs and the practical building of AI-enabled solutions. The role is primarily focused on solution design and building: agent development, solution architecture, workflow automation, integration, testing and deployment, with a clear emphasis on building secure, usable and maintainable solutions that practitioners can rely on.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
