AI Solutions Engineer - Private Equity

The Company:
We are partnering with a leading Private Equity firm seeking an AI Solutions Engineer. They are building an internal AI capability to improve how specialist teams work with data, documents and business processes. You will be part of a dedicated innovation team creating practical, secure AI tools for colleagues across multiple offices and practice areas.
What you'll do:
As an AI Solutions Engineer, you will design, build and support production-ready AI applications that help internal teams work more effectively. This is a hands-on role for a practical builder who can turn business challenges into secure, useful AI solutions.
- Work with internal teams to identify AI opportunities, define requirements and prioritise projects.
- Build a shared internal AI platform, including secure access, data connections, monitoring and reusable components.
- Design and develop AI workflows that coordinate multiple tools, data sources and AI agents.
- Deliver AI applications for document analysis, interview transcription, candidate assessment, contract review, business monitoring and project tracking.
- Create document question-and-answer tools integrated with internal document systems.
- Apply strong security, privacy and access-control practices when working with sensitive business and portfolio data.
- Provide hands-on training, create clear documentation and support responsible AI adoption across the organisation.

Key Skills:
- Experience deploying AI applications into production environments.
- Proven experience building applications using large language models, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and multi-agent workflows.
- Strong Python development skills.
- Experience working with AI model APIs, such as Anthropic or OpenAI.
- Experience with AI workflow or orchestration tools, such as Semantic Kernel, LangGraph, AutoGen or similar platforms.
- Strong Azure experience, including App Services, Functions, Entra ID, AI Services and Cosmos DB.
- Working knowledge of React and TypeScript for internal user interfaces.
- Ability to gather requirements from non-technical stakeholders and explain technical options clearly.
- A practical, systems-focused approach to solving problems and delivering useful products.
- Strong awareness of data privacy, security and responsible AI practices.
