AI Solutions Engineer - London - Hybrid

The Job

We're looking for an exceptional AI Solutions Engineer to turn cutting-edge AI into real commercial and operational firepower. Working alongside the AI Automation Lead and senior business stakeholders, you'll design, prototype and deploy intelligent, agentic AI solutions right across the organisation.

You'll sit at the sharp end of AI engineering, business transformation and automation — taking ideas from a whiteboard sketch to a production system delivering measurable impact. This is a genuinely hands-on role for someone who wants to build, challenge, experiment and ship. No PowerPoint theorising — just real solutions doing real work.

Key responsibilities include:

  • AI Architecture & Engineering: Design, build and deploy production-grade AI agents, RAG systems and multi-agent solutions for complex enterprise use cases.
  • AI Experimentation & Innovation: Get your hands on the newest LLMs, tools and architectures, rapidly prototype bold ideas and pinpoint where AI can move the needle most.
  • Workflow Automation: Team up with business units to map processes, hunt down bottlenecks and build AI-powered solutions that slash manual effort and boost accuracy and efficiency.
  • Evaluation, Governance & Monitoring: Build robust evaluation, safety, compliance, audit and monitoring frameworks so your AI solutions are reliable, measurable and genuinely production-ready.
  • Business Transformation: Partner with senior stakeholders to spot high-value AI opportunities, translate gnarly business problems into practical solutions and drive adoption across the business.
  • Continuous Improvement & Enablement: Analyse performance and feedback, keep iterating your AI products, and build reusable frameworks, prompt libraries and playbooks that supercharge AI adoption company-wide.

About You

You're a hands-on AI builder with sharp commercial instincts — someone who turns real business problems into practical AI solutions, not just proofs of concept. You're comfortable deep in LLMs, AI agents, RAG and automation, and just as comfortable explaining it all to senior stakeholders and non-technical teams alike. Most importantly, you've built things that have actually made it into production. You're naturally curious about where the technology is heading, but you're not interested in AI for AI's sake. You understand that the best solution isn't necessarily the most technically impressive one — it's the one that solves the problem, gets adopted and delivers measurable value.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Key Technologies

LLMs & Generative AI | AI Agents | Prompt Engineering | RAG | Python & APIs | LLM Evaluation & Monitoring | AI Workflow Automation

You don't necessarily need to have worked with every technology or framework we're using. The AI landscape is moving far too quickly for a checklist approach.

What matters more is that you understand the underlying concepts, have strong engineering fundamentals and can demonstrate that you've used modern AI technologies to build solutions that work in the real world.

About the Company

This is an established international business going through an important stage in its AI journey. There is already significant enthusiasm for AI across the organisation, with multiple areas of the business exploring how automation and Generative AI can improve the way they operate. The next stage is about turning that enthusiasm into real, production-grade capability.

The organisation is establishing a central AI and automation capability to identify the highest-value opportunities, put the right governance around them and build solutions that can be deployed and scaled internationally.

That's where you come in. You'll be joining at an unusually interesting point: early enough to have genuine influence over how things are built, but with the backing, business demand and executive sponsorship needed to actually get things done.

Rather than inheriting a mature AI estate and maintaining it, you'll help create what comes next.

Location

London – hybrid working. The role will involve working with colleagues, business stakeholders and technical teams internationally.

The Process

The process starts with an initial conversation with me. You'll then meet members of the AI, technology and business leadership teams, giving you the opportunity to understand both the technical challenge and the wider ambitions for AI across the organisation. Full details of the interview process will be discussed during our initial conversation.

The Money

Competitive package. Full salary, bonus and benefits details will be discussed during our initial conversation.

What Should You Do Now?

If you're an AI engineer who has actually built and deployed AI into production, understands that business impact matters more than an impressive demo, and likes the idea of helping build an AI capability rather than simply inheriting one, I'd like to speak with you.

We're particularly interested in people who can bridge the gap between "this is technically possible" and "this is running in production and delivering value."

If that sounds like you, click Apply and send me your CV.
