Role Description

The AI Strategy Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in the London Area, United Kingdom. This role focuses on designing and implementing AI-driven strategies that enhance sales performance, customer service operations, and overall operational efficiency for Ascentel’s clients. The consultant collaborates with internal stakeholders and client teams to:

  • Pilot AI solutions
  • Refine processes based on performance metrics
  • Ensure adoption through training, documentation, and change management support

The role also involves:

  • Monitoring outcomes against KPIs
  • Communicating insights to leadership and clients
  • Continuously iterating strategies to deliver sustained business value

Qualifications

  • Strong background in AI strategy, with experience identifying use cases and designing implementation plans for commercial or operational environments.
  • Skills in data analysis, performance measurement, and KPI development to evaluate impact and guide decision-making.
  • Experience working with customer-facing functions (Sales, Service, Contact Centres) and understanding of process optimization in these domains.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-focused recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, and cross-functional collaboration within fast-paced environments.
  • Comfort working with modern AI tools and platforms (e.g., conversational AI, analytics dashboards, workflow automation) and awareness of emerging trends.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on crisp documentation and transparent reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience in consulting, product strategy, or operations transformation is highly beneficial.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Data/AI, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent practical experience also considered.
  • Ability to work on-site in the London Area and collaborate with distributed, international teams.
