AI Strategy Consultant

We’re looking for an AI Strategy Consultant to help our clients reimagine how they work - shaping and redefining business and operational strategies through AI and automation. This is a senior, client-facing role that sits at the intersection of business and technology, translating ambitious strategy into deliverable change.

You’ll lead workshops with senior stakeholders to identify high-value opportunities, guide teams through process re-design, and work alongside technical delivery teams to shape the AI and automation solutions that bring new ways of working to life. You’ll be equally comfortable in the boardroom and in delivery - bridging the gap between business leaders and technical teams so that AI initiatives create real, measurable value.

This is an ideal role for someone with deep transformation experience and strong commercial acumen who is genuinely excited about what AI makes possible - and who can turn that potential into practical, adopted change.

Location: London based. This is a remote-first role, with regular travel to client sites across the UK as required. Please note that candidates must already have the right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer visa sponsorship at this time.

What You’ll Do

  • Engage senior stakeholders to shape and redefine business and operational strategies, leveraging AI capabilities to unlock new sources of value.
  • Prepare for and lead workshops with senior stakeholders to identify opportunities to change ways of working and deliver business value through AI and automation.
  • Lead teams to drive process re-design engagements with clients, moving from current-state analysis to future-state operating models and processes.
  • Work closely with technical teams to guide the AI and automation solutions required to enable new business processes for our clients.
  • Develop compelling business cases, target operating models, and process designs that align stakeholders and justify investment.
  • Bridge the gap between business and technology stakeholders, translating complex AI concepts into clear commercial outcomes and vice versa.
  • Lead change management activities to ensure new ways of working are adopted, embedded, and sustained.
  • Own and drive sales proposals and pitches, developing compelling responses and presenting to prospective clients to win new work and help grow the business.
  • Contribute to shaping best practices and thought leadership for AI-enabled transformation across Inference Group.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
