Are you a Technical Consultant with hands-on AI experience who enjoys turning ideas into working solutions?

We're working with an innovative organisation looking for a AI Technical Consultant to design, build and test AI-powered agents, proofs of concept and intelligent automation solutions.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys experimenting, building and solving problems. You'll take AI concepts beyond conversations and prototypes, turning ideas into practical solutions that work in real environments.

You'll work across emerging AI technologies, helping shape how organisations use intelligent agents while collaborating with functional consultants and business stakeholders to bring solutions to life.

The Role

You'll be responsible for building AI agents and proofs of concept, taking ideas from early exploration through to working solutions.

This is a hands-on role where you'll spend time building, testing and refining AI solutions rather than simply advising on them.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and build AI agents and intelligent automation solutions.
  • Create proofs of concept that demonstrate real business value.
  • Take AI ideas and conversations and turn them into working implementations.
  • Experiment with emerging AI tools and technologies.
  • Configure and develop solutions using platforms such as Copilot Studio and other AI development tools.
  • Work with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Understand technical considerations around deployment, authentication and integrations.
  • Continuously explore new approaches to improve AI capabilities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

About You

You're someone who enjoys building.

You are comfortable working in a terminal environment and aren't intimidated by technical problem-solving. You understand the fundamentals behind how solutions are built, deployed and connected, even if you aren't a traditional software engineer.

You may come from a technical consulting, development or automation background, with experience experimenting with AI tools and building practical solutions.

You don't need to have used every AI platform available, the technology is evolving quickly. We're looking for someone with hands-on experience, curiosity and the ability to take ownership of building.

You'll ideally have experience with:

  • Building AI solutions, agents or automation workflows.
  • Tools such as Claude Code, custom skills and subagents, Copilot Studio, Codex or similar AI development environments.
  • Working comfortably in a terminal environment.
  • Understanding technical concepts such as APIs, authentication, deployment and integrations.
  • Creating proofs of concept and moving ideas towards working solutions.
  • Collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

This isn't a role for someone who only wants to discuss AI concepts—you'll be someone who wants to build.

You don't need to know every tool or have years of AI experience. However, you should be comfortable exploring new technologies, troubleshooting problems and understanding the technical decisions behind a solution.

If you can take an AI idea and turn it into something tangible, we'd love to hear from you.
