Associate Consultant – AI Strategy & Transformation

Within our Strategy, Insights & Planning (SIP) practice, we partner with leading pharmaceutical, biotech and healthcare organizations to solve their most complex business challenges.
Our AI Strategy & Transformation team sits at the forefront of one of the biggest shifts in healthcare today: helping organizations unlock the value of Artificial Intelligence. We work with senior executives to define AI strategies, identify high-value use cases, design operating models, and drive enterprise-wide adoption of AI technologies that create measurable business impact.
This is an opportunity to shape how AI transforms drug discovery, clinical development, commercial operations and decision-making across the healthcare ecosystem.
What You'll Do:
As an Associate Consultant in our AI Strategy & Transformation team, you will help clients navigate the rapidly evolving AI landscape while delivering practical solutions that generate real business value.
- Help pharmaceutical, biotech and healthcare organizations identify opportunities to leverage AI and Generative AI.
- Develop AI strategies and transformation roadmaps aligned to client business objectives.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies and assess their potential impact on healthcare and life sciences organizations.
- Support AI investment decisions through business case development, value assessments and implementation planning.
- Structure and solve ambiguous business challenges using strategic problem-solving frameworks.
- Conduct market, technology and competitive intelligence research to uncover actionable insights.
- Partner closely with data scientists, machine learning engineers, software developers and business leaders.
- Translate business requirements into AI-enabled solutions and ensure alignment between technical and strategic objectives.
- Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders.
- Present strategic recommendations and executive-ready deliverables to client leadership teams.
- Stay ahead of developments in AI, Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs) and digital innovation.
- Contribute thought leadership, client offerings and internal capability development.
- Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning.

What You'll Bring:
- Master's or PhD degree in a quantitative or scientific discipline such as: Life Sciences, Data & Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science
- 2-5 years of relevant professional experience in life sciences consulting, strategy, analytics, digital transformation or AI-related roles.
- Exposure to healthcare, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology or medical technology is highly desirable.
- Strong interest in the intersection of AI, business strategy and healthcare innovation.
- Demonstrated understanding of how AI can create business value across research, commercial and operational functions.
- Passion for emerging technologies, Generative AI, automation and digital transformation.
- Experience using AI tools to enhance productivity, innovation and decision-making.
