Role Overview

Planet is seeking a communications and programme professional to support communications, engagement and programme coordination for our AI-First transformation programme. Planet is a global payments and software technology business, with teams, customers and partners across multiple markets. This role will help colleagues understand how AI can support their work, while keeping key activity organised and moving forward across the business.

Reporting to the Chief of Staff, the role will work closely with Corporate Affairs, which manages internal and external communications, the Centre of Excellence for AI and our Digital Workplace team.

This is a role for someone who combines clear communication, structured planning and practical coordination. It sits at the intersection of communications, change management and programme delivery, with regular exposure to senior leaders and teams across Planet’s international business.

What You Will Do

AI Academy Content & Curation

  • Curate and structure content for regular AI Academy sessions, including use cases, tools, success stories and practical examples
  • Identify strong internal and external examples that show how AI can be applied in day-to-day work
  • Create content that is relevant, simple and useful for colleagues across different roles, markets and teams
  • Maintain a library of reusable AI Academy resources, learning materials and communications assets

  • Develop and support a clear, engaging AI communications plan
  • Create messaging that builds understanding, confidence and interest in Planet’s AI work
  • Support delivery across internal channels, including email, intranet, presentations, live sessions, town halls and leadership briefings
  • Help maintain a consistent, approachable voice across AI-related communications

Employee Engagement & Adoption

  • Support activity that increases participation in AI Academy sessions and helps colleagues make practical use of AI tools
  • Develop creative approaches that make AI accessible, practical and relevant
  • Gather feedback from colleagues and use it to improve engagement activity
  • Capture and share success stories from different countries, functions and business areas

Programme Coordination & PMO Support

  • Support planning, tracking and reporting across AI transformation workstreams
  • Coordinate actions, milestones and dependencies across multiple teams
  • Maintain programme plans, engagement calendars and governance documentation
  • Prepare materials for leadership reviews, steering groups and programme updates
  • Track progress, risks and key decisions, and support follow-through on actions

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Build strong working relationships with Corporate Affairs, the Centre of Excellence for AI and Digital Workplace teams
  • Work with colleagues across Planet’s global teams to share knowledge, highlight good practice and help successful ideas travel across the organisation
  • Support measurement and reporting on participation, engagement and adoption
  • Use insights to shape future communications, learning and engagement activity

Who You Are

  • Experience in communications, programme management, change management or business transformation roles
  • Strong writing, editing and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional programmes involving multiple stakeholders
  • Confidence preparing presentations, reports and communications for senior audiences
  • Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Interest in AI, technology and organisational change
  • Experience supporting technology or transformation programmes would be beneficial
