Role Description
The AI Transformation Lead is a full-time hybrid role based in Cheltenham, with flexibility for some work from home. This role leads end-to-end AI transformation initiatives, including assessing client needs, defining AI strategies, and translating business objectives into actionable roadmaps. Day-to-day responsibilities include facilitating stakeholder workshops, coordinating cross-functional teams, and overseeing the delivery of AI solutions that are viable, ethical, and aligned with organizational goals. The AI Transformation Lead partners with technical and business teams to design operating models, guide change management, and establish metrics to track impact. The role also involves mentoring team members, contributing to thought leadership, and supporting business development activities such as proposals and client presentations.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead serious AI transformation programmes end to end, embedding with the client through launch, adoption, and scale
- Run workshops and training for teams at every level, from the shop floor to the exec
- Work directly with senior stakeholders - earning trust and leading the conversation at their level
- Help developer and product teams change how they work, evolving their software delivery process so AI is woven through how things get specced, built, and shipped
- Translate what AI can realistically do into concrete, role-specific ways of working

Requirements & Qualifications
- A track record leading substantial transformation projects at organizations of 100+ employees
- Highly organised, driven, and a strong problem solver - someone who owns a programme and moves it forward
- An excellent communicator who can hold their own with senior leadership and win teams over
- An interest in AI and a sense of where it creates real value for a business - expert-level fluency is a plus, but not essential; we'll train you
- Experience running workshops and training that change behaviour
- Comfort working alongside developers and product teams
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Familiarity with software delivery processes
- Expert-level AI fluency
- Account Management and/or consultancy experience
