AI Transformation Manager

Location: Swindon or London Hybrid

Salary: £65,000 - £74,000 plus strong wider benefits package.

Duration: 2 Year Fixed-Term Contract

About the Role

Our client, a well-established national organisation, are looking for an AI Transformation Manager to lead AI adoption, automation, and digital workplace improvement across a complex stakeholder environment.

You will identify opportunities, build business cases, deliver proof of concepts, implement solutions, and drive measurable productivity improvements across multiple business functions.

This is a hands-on AI transformation role using Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, Microsoft 365, Azure AI Foundry, ChatGPT and Claude within a people-focused environment where adoption, change, and business outcomes are the priority.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and prioritise AI, automation and productivity improvement opportunities across the organisation
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of high-value use cases aligned to business impact and ROI
  • Deliver proof of concepts, pilots and production-ready AI solutions
  • Design and implement workflow automation using Power Automate and related technologies
  • Lead AI adoption, training and awareness programmes across business teams
  • Develop and maintain prompt libraries, frameworks and best practice guidance
  • Work closely with business leaders, HR and technology teams to drive adoption and change
  • Support AI governance, security and data compliance requirements across initiatives
  • Facilitate workshops to identify opportunities and redesign business processes using AI and automation
  • Measure and report productivity gains, adoption metrics and business outcomes
  • Improve knowledge management and information discovery through practical AI solutions
  • Monitor emerging technologies and recommend new AI and automation capabilities where appropriate

  • Strong experience delivering AI transformation, automation or digital workplace initiatives
  • Good understanding of Generative AI, LLMs and AI productivity tools
  • Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft 365 and Power Automate
  • Knowledge of Azure AI services, ChatGPT, Claude or similar AI platforms
  • Experience building and scaling prompt engineering frameworks and prompt libraries
  • Background in business process improvement, automation and operational change
  • Strong stakeholder management experience across business and technology teams
  • Experience delivering training, workshops and user adoption programmes
  • Ability to assess and communicate ROI, benefits realisation and business value
  • Experience with Power BI, reporting and performance measurement
  • Comfortable working independently in a role focused on delivery, adoption and measurable outcomes
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into practical business language
