Role Overview
Puffy, a market-leading, nine-figure D2C brand and Top 5 US mattress brand with over $1Billion in sales, is hiring an AI Workflow Specialist to own hands-on workflow delivery across process mapping, AI production, systems integration and team adoption, reporting directly to Mars Bai, Chief AI Operations Officer.
This role exists to turn business needs into reliable AI-enabled work, building reusable workflows and operating guides that help teams deliver accurate results without constant technical support.
The Problems You'll Own
Primary
Less effort, dependable results: The challenge is turning business requests into AI-enabled work that produces useful results consistently. Less manual effort is only a gain if quality holds when real inputs and exceptions arrive. The problem you own is making that improvement repeatable, with clear inputs, reliable outputs and checks that protect quality.
Secondary
Workflows that outlast the handoff: A solution has limited value if its users depend on its creator to keep it running. The supporting challenge is making workflows understandable, maintainable and usable by the teams they serve, without constant technical support.
The Career Accelerator
This is not a role where you collect prompts, run isolated demos or pass unchecked AI output to another team. You'll work across business functions, personally build and test workflows, and take evidence and decisions directly to the Chief AI Operations Officer.
Your first 12 months
- Turn agreed business priorities into usable workflows, reusable components, reliable connections and operating guides.
- Shape how teams at Puffy use AI to improve work quality and reduce total human effort.
- Map the work. Establish the required outcome, inputs, decisions, handoffs and current quality and human-effort baseline.
- Use AI to draft workflow specifications, then validate them with the people doing the work.
- Build and test. Personally produce AI instructions, workflow configurations and reusable components.
- Test real inputs and exceptions, check accuracy and usefulness, and refine the workflow before deployment.
- Connect systems reliably. Configure information flows between business tools and AI.
- Validate mappings and outputs, handle permissions carefully and retain appropriate human review before consequential actions.
- Improve performance. Evaluate output quality, total human effort, elapsed turnaround, model and tool costs, reliability and maintenance needs.
- Use evidence to simplify work and correct failure patterns.
- Enable adoption. Use AI to produce clear operating instructions, guides and knowledge resources, then verify them with users.
- Train teams, support troubleshooting and maintain reusable solutions.
Deliver usable workflows and checked outputs, not demonstrations alone. Good work is accurate, useful on real inputs, repeatable, understandable to its users and maintained after handoff.

- In most companies, automation work ends with a demo. Here, you're the person who can explain whether a workflow is useful, repeatable and ready for real inputs.
- When teams consider changing how they work, your test evidence helps them decide what to trust and where human review belongs.
- You'll build judgment about AI output quality and the communication skills to make that judgment usable.
- Puffy has been AI-First since December 2023, so you'll build that judgment with an AI-native toolbox behind you rather than a queue of manual fixes in front of you.
What You'll Need
- Relevant experience. 2–3 years of experience in workflow automation, process optimization, operations or similar work involving systematic problem-solving. Logical reasoning and proven delivery matter more than job titles.
- Hands-on AI delivery. Experience designing and delivering multi-step workflows using AI tools and workflow platforms, including practical application to business work.
- Sound judgment and validation. Ability to translate a business problem into a clear workflow, test real inputs and judge whether the output is accurate, useful and repeatable. Strong logical reasoning is essential; coding experience is not required.
- Curiosity and communication. Curiosity about AI, judgment about where new capabilities are useful, and clear communication and documentation skills for training and supporting business teams.
- Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
Good-to-Have
- Experience using workflow automation platforms, such as n8n, to connect applications and automate multi-step processes
- Experience diagnosing issues in automated workflows; basic understanding of APIs and webhooks; ability to explain workflows with simple diagrams or flowcharts.

💰 Compensation
- Up to AED 264,000 (tax-free) total annual cash compensation (base + monthly performance bonus of up to 10% of base)
