Air and Ocean Export Coordinator

Heathrow, London

Salary: £35,000 to £45,000 per year, depending on experience


We are looking for an experienced Air and Ocean Export Coordinator to join an established freight forwarding business in the Heathrow area.

This is a busy, hands-on role where you will manage export shipments from initial booking through to final delivery. You will work closely with customers, airlines, shipping lines, overseas agents, and transport providers to keep shipments moving smoothly and on schedule.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Managing air and ocean export shipments from start to finish
  • Making bookings with airlines, shipping lines, and transport providers
  • Preparing air waybills, bills of lading, and other export documentation
  • Completing customs entries and ensuring shipments meet export requirements
  • Keeping customers updated throughout the shipment process
  • Liaising with overseas agents and resolving any delays or operational issues
  • Checking supplier invoices and preparing files for billing
  • Maintaining accurate records within the company’s freight system

What We Are Looking For:

  • Previous experience in air or ocean exports within freight forwarding
  • A good understanding of export documentation and customs procedures
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • The ability to stay organized and manage several shipments at once
  • A practical approach to solving problems
  • Confidence using freight systems and Microsoft Office
  • The right to work in the UK
