AB-Zero Air Conditioning Ltd is a commercial air conditioning contractor based in Essex, working across Essex, East London, and the M25 corridor. We are F-Gas and REFCOM accredited, we run a team of qualified engineers, and we are growing quickly on the back of doing the job properly and turning up when we say we will.

We are looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join us on office fit-out projects inside London.

THE ROLE

You will be installing and commissioning VRF and VRV systems on commercial office fit-out projects in Central London, working alongside our site teams, main contractors, and fit-out clients.

Day to day you will be:

  • Installing VRF/VRV systems from first fix to handover - pipework, indoor and outdoor units, condensate, and controls
  • Pressure testing, evacuating, charging, and commissioning
  • Working to drawings and specification, and raising issues early rather than leaving them for someone else
  • Keeping your paperwork right - F-Gas records, site diaries, and sign-offs
  • Working safely and keeping your area tidy on high-specification client sites
  • Commercial work only, no domestics

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
