This is a full-time, on-site Air Conditioning Engineer role based in Latchingdon. The Air Conditioning Engineer will install, commission, maintain, and repair air conditioning and HVAC systems in a variety of environments, including retail, commercial, hospitality, and leisure sites. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing faults, carrying out planned preventative maintenance, responding to urgent call-outs, and ensuring systems operate efficiently and safely. The engineer will complete service reports, maintain accurate records, and communicate clearly with clients, colleagues, and the help desk team. The role also involves following company procedures, adhering to health and safety standards, and supporting continuous improvement in service delivery.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and fault diagnosis.
- Candidates should possess skills in Building Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for mechanical and electrical plant and equipment.
- Candidates should possess skills in Building Services and Facility Management (FM), including working within commercial and multi-site environments.
- Relevant technical qualifications in refrigeration and air conditioning (e.g., NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent) and F-Gas certification are highly beneficial.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations, safe working practices, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to read technical drawings, use diagnostic tools, and work independently to manage workloads and priorities.
- Effective communication skills, a customer-focused approach, and a full UK driving license are desirable.
