What we are looking for?
We are looking for an Air Conditioning Engineer to carry out the installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning and HVAC systems across commercial and residential properties.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planned preventative maintenance, fault finding, reactive repairs, and ensuring all work is completed in line with current industry and health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, commission, and test air conditioning systems.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on a variety of HVAC equipment.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently.
- Service split systems, VRV/VRF systems, multi-split units, ducted systems, and heat pumps.
- Complete all required job sheets, service reports, and compliance documentation accurately.
- Ensure all work complies with current health and safety regulations and industry standards.
- Respond to reactive maintenance call-outs when required.
- Liaise professionally with customers, contractors, and colleagues.
- Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles in good working order.
- Identify opportunities for system improvements or additional works and report these to management.
Skills & Experience:
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer.
- Relevant HVAC qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 2 or 3, or equivalent).
- Valid F-Gas Category 1 Certification.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Good understanding of current health and safety regulations.

Desirable Qualifications
- Experience with refrigeration systems.
- IPAF and PASMA certification.
- CSCS card.
- Experience working with commercial building management systems (BMS).
- Electrical knowledge or qualifications.
