About The Role

As an Air Conditioning Engineer - Buckinghamshire, you will join a long-established M&E contractor operating across Buckingham, Berkshire, and Oxfordshire. This full-time position offers a salary between £46,000 and £47,000 per annum. Your duties will involve servicing and maintaining commercial HVAC systems across local authority, office, telecoms, and NHS properties. The role suits a technician with strong fault-finding abilities and refrigerant handling expertise. You will work a standard weekly pattern, with no London travel required, supporting a healthy work-life balance. The Role

Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an Air Conditioning Engineer to carry out service, maintenance and fault-finding duties when required.

  • Air Handling Units (AHUs)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service and planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
  • Reactive fault finding and diagnosis
  • Compressor replacements
  • System repairs and breakdown attendance
  • Working across a variety of commercial client sites
  • Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health & safety requirements

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience within commercial air conditioning
  • Strong service background
  • Experience working on VRV, VRF, Split, Multi-Split and AHU systems
  • Competent fault-finding skills
  • Experience carrying out compressor changes and major repairs
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Strong customer-facing communication skills

Salary & Benefits

  • 46/47K
  • Annual salary reviews
  • Travel time paid after 30 minutes each way
  • Company van and fuel card - Private use of van included
  • Call out - 1 in 13/14. - D2D on call.
  • Mobile phone provided

  • Overtime opportunities available - Evenings and Saturday morning would be at x1.5 hourly rate. Sat pm and Sunday would be at x2 hourly rate
  • Overtime rates apply to travel time beyond the first 30 minutes each way

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:00am - 4:30pm
  • 30-minute lunch break
