Air Conditioning Engineer – Commercial Projects

Location: London/Essex
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Air Conditioning Engineer – London Projects

Our client is a well-established company within the building services sector and is looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join their team, working across a range of commercial projects throughout London.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer looking for long-term project work with a reputable company, working on a variety of commercial installations and HVAC systems.

As an Air Conditioning Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance and fault finding of air conditioning systems across commercial sites in London. You will work closely with project managers, site teams and other trades to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation and commissioning of air conditioning systems on commercial projects.
  • Working with VRV/VRF, split and other HVAC systems.
  • Carrying out fault finding, diagnostics and repairs.
  • Testing systems and ensuring they are operating efficiently.
  • Working from technical drawings and project specifications.
  • Liaising with site managers, project managers and other contractors.
  • Completing relevant service sheets and project documentation.
  • Maintaining excellent health and safety standards on site.
  • Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within project timescales.

Let's talk about you...

  • Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer.
  • Strong commercial project experience.
  • Good knowledge of installation, commissioning and fault finding.
  • F-Gas certification.
  • Relevant HVAC/air conditioning qualifications.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • A professional approach and strong work ethic.
  • CSCS/ECS certification would be advantageous.
  • A full UK driving licence would be beneficial.
