Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Air Conditioning Installer role based in Buckingham. The Air Conditioning Installer will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and testing air conditioning and ventilation systems in domestic, commercial, and industrial settings. Day-to-day tasks include:

The role also involves:

  • Diagnosing faults
  • Performing routine maintenance
  • Completing service reports and documentation in line with company and regulatory standards

The installer will work closely with clients and team members, maintaining professional communication, adhering to health and safety procedures, and supporting other mechanical and cooling projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Strong technical skills in installing, commissioning, and maintaining air conditioning, cooling, and ventilation systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and installation manuals for mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Solid understanding of health and safety regulations, safe working practices, and relevant industry standards.
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment relevant to HVAC installation and repair.
  • Good problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose faults and implement effective solutions on-site.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, with a professional approach to customer service and client interaction.
  • Relevant trade qualifications or certifications in HVAC, refrigeration, or mechanical services; F-Gas certification highly beneficial.
  • Previous experience in air conditioning installation or a related mechanical/electrical role; experience in domestic and commercial environments is an advantage.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to sites in and around Buckingham as required.
