Role Description

The Air Conditioning Installer is a full-time, on-site role based in Fakenham. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning and HVAC systems in residential and commercial properties.
  • Assessing site requirements, selecting appropriate equipment, fitting and connecting units, and ensuring systems operate efficiently and safely.
  • Diagnosing faults, performing routine servicing, and completing relevant documentation in line with company and regulatory standards.
  • Clear communication with clients.
  • Coordinating with the wider engineering team.
  • Adhering to health and safety procedures on every job.

Qualifications

  • Strong technical skills in air conditioning and HVAC installation, maintenance, and fault finding.
  • Working knowledge of electrical systems relevant to air conditioning units and associated controls.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, installation manuals, and specifications.
  • Good communication and customer service skills, with a professional and respectful approach on site.
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a focus on safe working practices.
  • Relevant vocational qualification or apprenticeship in air conditioning, refrigeration, HVAC, or electrical engineering.
  • Valid UK driving licence and capability to travel to client sites across Norfolk.
  • Previous experience in air conditioning or HVAC installation in residential or commercial settings is highly beneficial.
