Launched in 2009 as a small construction venture between two friends, Size Group brings together the vital elements of property from the construction of luxury buildings through to the maintenance and management of a property portfolio.
We are looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Service & Breakdown Engineer to join our growing Property Care team on a permanent, full-time basis.

The Role
We are seeking an experienced and professional Air Conditioning Service & Breakdown Engineer to join our growing team, working primarily within high-end private residential properties across London.

This role is ideally suited to an engineer who takes pride not only in technical ability and fault diagnosis, but also in delivering an exceptional level of service within prestigious and occupied homes. You will be confident working both independently and as part of a team, with a professional, client-focused approach and the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist experienced engineers with installations, planned maintenance and reactive repairs
- Service, maintain and repair a wide range of air conditioning systems, including:
- Split systems
- Multi-split systems
- VRV/VRF systems
- Heat pump systems
- Attend breakdown callouts and diagnose faults quickly and accurately
- Carry out reactive maintenance and emergency repairs
- Identify and rectify both electrical and mechanical faults
- Complete detailed service reports and documentation clearly and accurately
- Deliver a high standard of customer service within occupied luxury residential properties
- Maintain clean, tidy and professional working practices at all times
- Ensure all works are carried out safely and in line with current regulations and company standards
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Service & Breakdown Engineer
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities
- Experience with chilled water systems is desirable
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Experience working within high-end residential or customer-facing environments (preferred)
- F-Gas qualified (essential)
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Professional, presentable and personable approach
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, controls and associated electrical systems

Desired Qualifications
- City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration
- 18th Edition qualification (desirable but not essential)
- Manufacturer training certifications
- Experience with systems such as Daikin and Mitsubishi Electric
