Due to continued growth and expansion, an established and successful business is looking to appoint an Air Conditioning Technical Manager to join its expanding team.
This is a senior technical position that will predominantly focus on the installation side of the Air Conditioning division, overseeing projects from quotation through to completion, providing technical support and ensuring installations are delivered to a high standard.
The successful candidate will work alongside an existing Air Conditioning Technical Manager, sharing responsibility across the growing division and supporting the continued development of the business.
The Role
The position will have a strong focus on project and technical management, including:
- Overseeing Air Conditioning installation projects from initial enquiry through to completion
- Preparing and providing technical quotations and proposals
- Reviewing project requirements and ensuring appropriate technical solutions are provided
- Providing technical support to engineers, customers and the wider team
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, contractors and internal teams
- Supporting project planning, scheduling and delivery
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical information
- Ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, safely and in line with customer expectations
- Identifying potential technical or commercial issues and providing solutions
- Supporting the continued growth and development of the Air Conditioning division
- Working closely with the Directors and existing Technical Manager on larger and more complex projects
- Travelling across the UK to attend sites and client meetings when required

About You
We're looking for someone with strong technical knowledge of Air Conditioning, ideally with experience on the installation and project management side of the industry.
You will need to be confident dealing with customers, contractors and engineers and comfortable taking ownership of projects from quotation through to delivery. The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong technical knowledge of Air Conditioning systems
- Previous experience managing or overseeing installation projects
- Experience producing quotations and/or technical proposals
- The ability to interpret drawings, specifications and project requirements
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- A commercially aware approach
- The confidence to work independently and make decisions
- A full UK driving licence
- The flexibility to travel across the UK when required

Salary is currently being confirmed with the company, but they are open to reviewing candidates across a range of salary levels depending on experience.
