We are looking for a motivated and reliable Air Tightness Tester to join our growing team based in Yorkshire. This is a field-based role involving travel to residential and commercial sites across Yorkshire and surrounding areas to carry out air permeability (airtightness) testing in accordance with industry standards.

The successful candidate will be professional, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently while maintaining excellent customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out air tightness testing on residential and commercial properties
  • Set up and operate blower door testing equipment
  • Produce accurate test reports
  • Liaise professionally with site managers, contractors, and clients
  • Ensure all testing is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with current regulations and company procedures
  • Maintain testing equipment
  • Represent the company professionally on every site visit

Essential Requirements

  • Hold a full UK driving licence
  • Willing to travel throughout Yorkshire and the surrounding regions, with occasional overnight stays if required
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while managing their own workload
  • Comfortable working on active construction sites
  • Basic IT skills for completing digital reports
  • Physically capable of handling testing equipment

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • Previous experience carrying out air tightness testing
  • ATTMA Level 1 or Level 2 qualification
  • Valid CSCS Card
  • Experience within the construction or building compliance sector
  • Knowledge of Building Regulations Part L and energy efficiency standards

Working Hours

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, with flexibility required to meet client and project demands.
