At Oakenhurst Aircraft Services, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Aircraft Component Certifying Inspector to join our growing Galley Accessory Division.

The Role

Working within our Galley Accessory Division, you will play a key role in ensuring aircraft components are maintained to the highest standards of safety, quality and regulatory compliance.

You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and certifying a wide range of aircraft galley equipment and accessories, including:

  • Coffee makers and beverage makers
  • Water boilers and water heaters
  • Ovens and steam ovens
  • Taps and faucets

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Inspecting, overhauling, repairing and testing aircraft galley components
  • Carrying out approved modifications where required
  • Certifying completed work in accordance with customer requirements and aviation regulations
  • Ensuring all maintenance activities comply with company procedures, Part 145 requirements and quality standards
  • Maintaining the highest levels of safety, quality and airworthiness
  • Working closely with colleagues to deliver outstanding support to customers worldwide

About You

We are looking for someone who is technically skilled, detail-focused and committed to maintaining the highest standards within a regulated aviation environment.

Essential:

  • A recognised qualification in Engineering, Aviation, Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance, Electronics or a related discipline
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to work accurately within a regulated environment
  • A proactive attitude and commitment to quality

Desirable:

  • Previous experience as a Certifying Inspector within an approved Aircraft Component MRO environment
