Role Description

We are seeking skilled Licensed Aircraft Engineers and Mechanics / Fitters to join our maintenance team. In this hands-on role, you will carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, fault diagnosis, and repairs to ensure aircraft remain safe, compliant, and serviceable. You will have the opportunity to work on a range of aircrafts including: Diamond, Piper, Slingsby, Robin, Cessna, Cirrus, Extras, and others.

While a B1.2 licence is desirable, the position is open to applicants who do not currently hold the licence, as we are committed to supporting staff with their professional development and helping them work towards obtaining the relevant qualification.

Working hours

Monday - Friday 8am - 4.30pm with occasional opportunities for overtime.

Qualifications

  • UK CAA or EASA Part-66 Cat A licence, or progress toward licence application (desirable).
  • NVQ Level 3 completed in a recognised engineering qualification or the equivalent experience.
  • Previous aircraft maintenance experience desirable.
  • Strong understanding of aircraft mechanical systems, maintenance practices, and technical documentation.
  • Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, task cards, and engineering instructions.
  • Ability to complete tasks within defined timescales.
  • You must be able to work professionally and responsibly on your own and as part of a team.
  • You must be an excellent team player and communicator.
  • You must possess excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Full UK driving licence (desirable).
