My client is a well-established global aircraft leasing and asset management platform with a diverse portfolio of commercial aircraft and engines leased to airlines worldwide.

As part of its continued growth, the company is seeking to appoint a Vice President - Powerplant to provide technical leadership across engine asset management, maintenance strategy, and transaction support activities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide powerplant support across aircraft and engine acquisitions, lease transactions, transitions, redeliveries, and disposals.
  • Review engine condition, maintenance status, technical records, shop visit requirements, and associated cost forecasts.
  • Support commercial and investment decisions by identifying key engine-related technical and financial considerations.
  • Work closely with airlines, MROs, OEMs, and internal teams on maintenance planning, lease matters, and transaction execution.
  • Provide senior technical input across the portfolio.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in powerplant engineering, engine asset management, aircraft leasing, airline technical operations, MRO, or OEM environments.
  • Good knowledge of engine maintenance planning, shop visits, lease obligations, technical records, and maintenance reserves.
  • Experience reviewing maintenance costs, engine condition, future maintenance requirements, and associated financial exposure.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to understand how technical decisions affect asset performance and transaction value.
  • Clear and confident communicator, comfortable working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
