About Us

Operating from modern, fully equipped hangar and engineering facilities at Belfast International Airport, 247 Aircraft Maintenance Ltd serves as the dedicated UK CAA Part 145-approved technical engineering backbone of the SERE Aviation Group.

Backed by an active £3.0 million infrastructure investment that will effectively double our Belfast hangar footprint, we are developing a premier, next-generation maintenance hub featuring expanded multi-bay aircraft capacity, upgraded avionics testing suites, modernised workshops, and enlarged technical stores complex.

In parallel, 247 Aircraft Maintenance Ltd is establishing a second operational engineering base at Bournemouth Airport (BOH). Strategically positioned on the south coast, this facility will provide dedicated forward line maintenance support and around-the-clock technical dispatch cover for our expanding fleet, directly underpinning our service delivery for the recently awarded Channel Islands fixed-wing air ambulance contract across Jersey and Guernsey (subject to contract).

Purpose of Role

Perform, supervise, certify, and release base and line maintenance activities on modern multi-engine piston aircraft, supporting our time-critical regional organ transfer and medical flight operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out scheduled base inspections, 50/100-hour checks, and unscheduled line maintenance in accordance with Part 145 standards and approved technical data.
  • Troubleshoot, inspect, and rectify mechanical, airframe, and powerplant defects (including Austro Engine Jet-A systems).
  • Accurately execute maintenance documentation and certify release to service within licence privileges.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
