The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Mechanic / A Licensed Mechanic to join our established, reputable team at our Luton base, on a permanent, full time basis.

Working within a small team, the mechanic will at times be required to manage as necessary the company mobile phones throughout the shift and be able to provide feedback to customers. The post is hands-on and will require that the incumbent actively takes part in the aircraft maintenance.
It would be beneficial if the successful person has good experience involving both line and scheduled maintenance.
Due to the nature of Corporate / Private Aviation, the mechanic will ensure that any enquiries from customers / crew are dealt with professionally and either deal with the request directly and/or liaise with the relevant internal departments to ensure that these are managed through to completion, providing regular feedback and acting when necessary as first point of contact.
The mechanic will actively be involved in both line and base maintenance and will have a proactive and flexible approach and will at times be expected to work away from base.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
