Aircraft Team Leader
Location: George Best Airport
Pay: £14.57 per hour, includes weekend and public holidays. Shifts can fall in between 02:45-00:30hrs
To provide our customers with an efficient professional cleaning service as per their specifications to include secure cleans/ searches if requested. Project a smart able attitude to our customers through, thorough work practices and a high degree of personal appearance at all times, ensuring compliance to company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain a high quality standard of aircraft cleaning
- Maintain healthy business relationship with customers
- Supervise and monitor performance and quality of service provided by staff on a regular basis
- Emphasize all aspects of safety on the job (e.g.) correct operation of equipment, and housekeeping.
- Ensure proper handling of international rubbish as required by the company, carrier and the Department of Agriculture
- Comply with airport authority, and carrier security requirements
- Comply with Swissport SOPs and policies
- Also other duties as assigned
- Correct PPE and uniform must be worn at all times
- Security cleans

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
- Fast learner, work well in a team but able to work alone at times.
- Readily adaptable to any changes that arise in the operation.
- Ability to work safely in a very busy environment under time limitations.
- Ability to understand verbal instructions in English for reasons of health and safety.
- Be physically fit enough to work in confined spaces (aircraft) and lift heavy weight as required.
- Must meet all security requirements.
- Possess a full driving license and be able to pass the relevant airport airside driving test.
- The individual for this role should not be afraid of hard work and work well in a team in ever changing circumstances.
- To be able to adapt to differing types of cleans as required by our customers using a degree of common sense.
- At all times even when under pressure be able to project a professional polite and capable manner to our customers and colleagues.
- Must be able to supply full driving license and pass the relevant airport airside driving test.
- Be capable of behaving in a mature safe manner while airside
- Must be aware of all company policies and procedures relevant to driving company vehicles.
- All of our staff are expected to be flexible in their duties and their rosters due to the ever-changing nature of our business.
