Salary
£37,458 (£20.00 per hour) rising to £38,956 in Jan 2027

Purpose Of Job
We are expanding our Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul team and seeking skilled Technicians to join our fast-paced, high-variance, Aftermarket environment.
This is a unique opportunity to support a range of structures and components for aircraft flying worldwide, significantly expanding your technical expertise.
We are hiring now, as well as building a talent pool for future opportunities.
Principal Accountabilities
- Work to operational logs, component maintenance manuals, component repair schemes and process specifications, and carry out maintenance and repairs.
- Liaise with Lead Technicians and Engineering to ensure the most efficient and effective repair solutions.
- Support the schedule of assigned work to ensure turn-around-time is achieved.
- Be accountable for the completion of assigned work within the targeted time allocation on the Final-Assembly Tracking System.
- Be accountable for the quality and verification of task completion.
- Carry out activities in relation to fabrication processes as required, e.g., welding, panel beating, non-destructive testing, and hot-bond repair.
- Be responsible for supporting and providing on-the-job training for fellow Technicians to meet ever-changing business requirements.
- Contribute to cost-reduction, schedule, and quality improvement initiatives in relation to the repairs process and assist others where required in the completion of tasks to meet scheduled requirements.
- Effectively participate in performance optimisation processes for the repairs business.
- Be responsible for the accuracy of individual labour-hour bookings on the Final-Assembly Tracking System, etc.
- Be responsible for supporting repair-shop activities on the introduction of new processes, technologies, and work practices.
- Support the operation in the design and manufacture of aids to production as required.
- Be responsible for general Health & Safety / housekeeping for the local workstation.
- Be prepared to travel at short notice and work shifts and overtime as required.

Candidate Requirements
It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that sufficient detail is provided on the application form to demonstrate how the applicant meets essential job criteria, as this alone will be used for vetting purposes.
Essential
- Apprenticeship in a relevant Mechanical discipline
- Must have a minimum of two years’ post-apprenticeship experience within an Aerospace environment.
- Strong communication and planning skills.
- The ability to work using continuous improvement principles, e.g., identification and coordination of resolutions to problems, working within a natural team environment and negotiating outcomes which reflect the interest of all parties.
- Successful candidates must be prepared to complete a 12-week development programme to acquire relevant skills in cost, quality, and schedule.

- Experience working as an Aircraft Technician in an Aftermarket Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul environment.
